I approach different processes through the integration of various datasets ranging from large scale (remote sensing, geophysical surveys and well data) and pore scale (laboratory experiments, sandbox experiments) to qualitative data (surveys, questionnaires). My work quantifies, monitors, analyzes and visualizes datasets. I seek to find innovative solutions to complex problems that can help inform management decisions and ultimately benefit people.
My current personal research has been to share the amazing tools that Python has in store for underprivileged students in Latin America. I apply the following principles:
1. Teach by doing: students learn to code by coding and I teach by example through live coding and debugging sessions.
2. Have fun: students are involved in projects with their own datasets and can ask their own questions.
3. The tools are limitless: students are introduced with additional tools, libraries and tutorials to continue exploring and learning by themselves.
